How does electrolysis work? Is it safe?

This time-tested hair removal method has been proven as an extremely safe procedure, and as a Certified Licensed Electrologist, I follow all standards of infection and safety control.
An electrolysis treatment begins with the insertion of a tiny probe into your hair follicle (a natural opening in the skin). A small amount of current is delivered to the base of the hair, cutting off the blood supply so that the follicle can no longer produce hair. The treated hair releases and is removed with tweezers. This process is repeated hair-by-hair until the desired area is cleared.
