Will electrolysis damage my skin?

Many clients report that their skin actually IMPROVES after electrolysis since they are able to stop methods that cause irritation, ingrown hairs, and acne.

It is normal to see redness and mild swelling after your electrolysis treatment. In most individuals, this will disappear within a few hours. In some circumstances and on certain body areas, electrolysis can cause tiny scabs or crusts to form over the treated follicles. These dots are perfectly normal parts of the healing process and will not leave permanent marks, provided you do not pick or scratch them. An occasional bruise, swelling, tenderness, or temporary hyper-pigmentation may occur.
